A great deal of attention is given to our students. We provide Christian Education classes for Junior High and Senior High. In our youth service on Wednesday nights, teenagers and young adults are taught from the Word of God in a way they can relate to. The Youth Ministry Leavittsburg Church of God exists to minister to teens 7th through Freshmen in College with the gospel of Jesus Christ and to assist those who have made a commitment to mature in their faith. The purpose of this ministry is not just to keep the youth occupied, but to assist them in the start of their adult lives. Every youth is at the start of a race, one that will take him or her around a track filled with joy, despair, soul searching and love. Our goal is to equip them to run the race for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus ( Philippians 3: 14 ). Elevate on Wednesday evenings at 7 till 7 ( 6: 53 p.m. ) is an exciting time in which teens at L.C.O.G. connect with God and with others. These creative sessions incorporate music, video presentations, movies, and illustrated sermons, and endeavor to challenge teens to live vibrant lives for Christ.
