The Mercer Slough Blueberry farm is owned and managed by the Bellevue Parks and Community Services Department as an effort to help preserve Bellevue's agricultural heritage. The farm, which was first established in the 1940s, is a unique, pastoral setting for park access and seasonal U-Pick opportunities. In addition, the park carries a wide variety of fresh seasonal produce, cut flowers and other agricultural products.

Hillaire Park sits across from a row of houses, with clearly marked street parking. There are two tennis courts, a sport court, a pickle ball court and a large, colorful playground. Trails wind through the park's trees and grassy sections.

Newcastle Beach Park is the largest beach park in Bellevue. Its long grass field leads up to a large 300-foot dock and a wonderful stretch of waterfront access. The park's views are breathtaking, the children's play structures are colorful and fun and the large covered picnic area is ideal for parties. It offers swimming, sunbathing and a relaxing nature trail. There is a lifeguard on duty from late June through Labor Day.

Hidden Valley Sports Park features three softball fields.  The main field is favorite a for kids, thanks to its full set up of lights, score board, concession stand and real covered dugouts. The park also has a basketball court, tennis court, play and picnic areas and bathrooms. 

For the last six years, a pair of osprey has been nesting in the park each spring. A special platform was built for them; their nest used to be located over the bleachers. The new location protects their eggs from hot weather while also saving fans from inadvertent showers.

Bovee Park is close to downtown Bellevue. Its trails wind through beautiful and well-maintained trees.  There are two tennis courts, a nice play area and several picnic tables in different locations.

This large community park features a large off-leash dog corral, two soccer fields, a tennis center, and recreational programs. The park also a system of paved and unpaved trails and water features. People also may rent Robinswood House (which has a separate listing here on Patch) for parties and events. Picnic tables and the lit ball fields can also be reserved.

The Crossroads Park and Community Center offers a wide variety of services to the community. Its water spray playground is open all year long, with spraying water from Memorial Day through Labor Day, 8am - 8pm. It also features a par-3, nine-hold chip and putt golf course, two tennis courts, basketball courts, horse shoe pit, skate bowl, play area, picnic area and jogging path. 

Indoors, the community center has a gym, game rooms, theater room and meeting rooms.  Activities vary widely from recreational athletics to arts and hum service programs for youth, teens and adults.

Weowna Park is a spectacular 80-acre open space park with miles of peaceful hiking trails. The trails wind through tower remnants of old growth forest and have views of Lake Sammamish and the Cascade Mountains. The recently engineered Phantom Creek descends through the park to Lake Sammamish. It is a series of picturesque waterfalls. The park also completes a major link in Bellevue's Lake-to-Lake Trail system.

Meydenbauer Beach Park is Bellevue's hidden gem. It is tucked within a residential area. Its long and narrow entrance leads to an idyllic waterfront setting. Visitors can be found fishing off the dock or swimming laps from buoy to buoy. With a quaint play area, several picnic benches and fabulously upkept grounds, this park is one not to miss. From late June through Labor Day, a lifeguard is on duty.

Lake Hills Greenbelt Ranger Station provides park information for the Lake Hills Greenbelt Park.  This includes interpretive displays, information on park trails, programs and gardening.  It is also equipped with a meeting room for small gatherings.

Tam O'Shanter Park has a great play area for the little ones and a half-court basketball court. There is a large open, grassy field and trails that wind through tall trees with dense undergrowth. And the freestanding barbecue grills and picnic tables are perfect for families looking to spend the day together.

Lake Hills Community Park has two softball fields, a basketball court, a lawn area and play structures. There is a small bridge near one of the play structures. One of the softball fields backs up onto a large grass covered hill covered with towering trees.

Bellevue Marina at Meydenbauer Bay is made up of three piers.  Pier one is a fixed wooden pier, which offers uncovered moorage of boats between 35 and 69 feet.  Pier two is a mostly covered concrete floating pier for boats ranging from 30 to 42 feet.  Pier three is a fixed wooden pier, with both covered and uncovered moorage for boats ranging from 20 to 50 feet. 

Marina services include water and appropriate electrical services to each clip, public restrooms, security gates at pier entrances, used motor oil disposal area, naturally protected moorage.
