Philippe Park, the oldest park in Pinellas County, features an Indian mound listed in the National Register of Historic Places and majestic shade trees. Visitors may stroll down a 1-mile shoreline, enjoy picnicking, fishing, a rock climbing park, a ball field and plenty of open spaces to roam. Kids will love the playground. There is a public boat ramp with access to Tampa Bay, which is open during park hours.

Taylor Park is a 156.5 acre park which has a 53-acre freshwater lake that's perfect for fishing. There's a dock/ramp for small boats. They park has plenty of picnic shelters, playground equipment, restrooms an water fountains. There's also a softball diamond and an open playing field. For the exercise enthusiast there's a 1.8-mile trail wand access to the Pinellas Park trail. This park has the following amenities: ball field, boat ramp, disc golf, fishing, multi-purpose trail, parking, picnic area, playground equipment, restrooms, seven shelters and grills.
Fred Howard Park is a 155 acre area with access to the Gulf of Mexico by a one-mile causeway. It features a white sandy beach, fishing, canoe and kayak access and dolphins and manatees may also be seen in the area. Amenities at the park include playgrounds, a ball field and picnic shelters.
