Woodcock Nature Center is a non-profit 149-acre state preserve established in 1972. The center provides a range of activities, facilities and events that include environmental education, camps, canoeing, kayaking, cross-country skiing, three miles of hiking paths and school field trips. The woodland trails are open from sunrise to sunset year round.

The Comstock Community Center houses the Wilton Senior Center, and the social services, and parks and recreation departments.  It is located on School Road, between Middlebrook Middle School and the Cider Mill School.

The Center features indoor recreation facilities, including two lighted basketball courts, a 10-acre athletic field, a baseball field, and a soccer field, in addition to the administrative offices. The Wilton Garden Club adjoins the building at the rear and there is ample parking surrounding the facility. A stone hippo guards the main entrance.

In Connecticut, the Weir Farm Art Center and Historic Site is maintained by the NPS, along with the Quinebaug & Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage Corridor in Putnam.

Ambler Farm is an 18-acre working farm located at 257 Hurlbutt Street in Wilton. It is owned by the Town of Wilton and operated by Friends of Ambler Farm, a nonprofit organization.

The mission of Friends of Ambler Farm is to celebrate the community's agrarian roots through active learning programs, sustainable agriculture, responsible land stewardship, and historic preservation. Its vision is to create a restored and self-sustaining Ambler Farm that provides the community with a place to connect with the land and the town's agrarian past through hands-on educational programming, sustainable farming in harmony with nature, animal husbandry, and community activities.
