Panda Express in San Leandro, California

National chain Panda Express serves up tasty Chinese fast food, including the best-selling Orange Chicken and Kobari Beef. The restaurant was founded in 1973 at Pasadena's Panda Inn by Ming Tsai Cherng. In 1983, Cherng's son Andrew and his wife, Peggy, launched the first Panda Express. There are now more than 1,300 Panda Express franchises. 

This smaller branch of the well-known toy chain carries a nice selection of toys and games for kids of all ages. The store is located at the Bay Fair Center shopping mall in the Ashland district.
