This surgery leads to a complete loss of motion in the fused level of the spine. Instead, we use the latest technologies such as lumbar and cervical artificial discs that replace the damaged disc and replicate the functions of a natural disc, including compression, flexion, extension, axial rotation, and lateral flexion.
