Patrick S. McNulty, MD, FABSS, FABOS, is a top 1% double-board certified, an award-winning orthopedic surgeon at McNulty Spine in Las Vegas who treats children and adults. He has over 30 years of experience in treating and repairing a wide range of spinal disorders and deformities. Dr. McNulty graduated magna cum laude from the University of Miami with a triple major in electrical engineering, computer engineering, and chemistry. He went on to earn his medical degree at the University of Miami Medical School, graduating first in his class. For his orthopedic surgery residency, Dr. McNulty went to the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, an affiliate of the Texas Scottish Rite Children’s Hospital in Dallas. He also completed rigorous fellowship training in spinal surgery at the Scoliosis and Spine Center, an affiliate of Johns Hopkins Hospital in Towson, Maryland. Following his medical training, Dr. McNulty followed a family tradition with military service. He served active duty with the United States Navy from 1994-1997 in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at the Naval Hospital in Portsmouth, Virginia. In addition to deploying during the Bosnian War, Dr. McNulty was also the head of the division of spine surgery and was involved full-time with orthopedic residency training. Dr. McNulty holds affiliations with a wide range of professional organizations, including the American College of Spine Surgery, the North American Spine Society, the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, and the North American Spine Society. Dr. McNulty has also won many awards over the years, such as U.S. News and World Report Top Doctors, America’s Top Orthopedists, and Consumers’ Research Council of America Top Physicians. Dr. McNulty often begins with conservative treatments before implementing surgical options. He provides traditional spine surgery as well as minimally invasive and robotic surgical options, which include laser spine surgery methods. Dr. McNulty is also well-versed in workers’ compensation and medical-legal medicine.
