Dr. Gordon established his first practice in Taneytown, in Carroll County, in 1972. By the end of 1978, he added four locations in the greater Baltimore area. Purchasing the established, four-location Barenberg family practices in 1980, Dr. Gordon vowed to continue the same level of care and service that Baltimoreans had grown to know and trust for over 60 years. In 1996, Dr. Gordons daughter, Shoshana Cohen, joined the practice, specializing in contact lenses, pediatrics, and glaucoma treatment and co-management. In 1999, Dr. Gordons son, Joshua joined the family practice specializing in the treatment of dry eye and ocular surface disease, as well as hard to fit contact lenses.
