Located in Santa Fe, N.M., the Hospice Center is a part of Presbyterian Medical Services, which is a nonprofit corporation that was formed to provide health care services to the underserved communities throughout the Southwest. Presbyterian Medical Services provides a variety of health, education and human services in predominately rural areas. It has more than 80 individual program sites in over 35 communities of New Mexico. The corporation serves Catron, Cibola, Eddy, Lea, Lincoln, Luna, Otero, Quay, Rio Arriba, Sandoval, Santa Fe, San Juan, Socorro and Torrance in New Mexico. Presbyterian Medical Services is accredited by The Joint Commission. It works in collaboration with Bureau of Primary Health Care, Carlsbad Mental Health, Indian Health Services and the San Juan Regional Medical Center. The agency is comprised of nearly 1,000 employees.
