Bethel Home & Services, located in Viroqua, Wis., is a nonprofit corporation sponsored by more than 30 South Conference congregations of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in the United States. It was founded in 1955, as a ministry focused on serving senior citizens. The agency serves more than 500 individuals every year, and has over 300 full- and part-time staff members. Bethel Home & Services offers a variety of residential options that offer sinks, cabinets, furniture and bedding. It offers several private rooms with bathrooms, and also provides nurses stations, resident and family lounges, and dining and fellowship rooms. The agency offers its residents a variety of recreational activities, and also provides live entertainment, music, shopping excursions and visits to restaurants.
