The State College of Florida (SCF) is an educational institution, whose 10-acre Lakewood Ranch Campus is located on Professional Parkway in Sarasota. The school offers various types of bachelors and associates degree programs and both credit and noncredit classes. It features a 30,000-sqare-foot Center for Innovation & Technology, which includes flexible meeting rooms and technology-equipped classrooms that make it popular as a training and seminar site for businesses and non-profit organizations. The campus also includes a two-story, 42,000-square-foot educational building that houses nursing, health, education and SCF’s new Energy Technology Management programs. The center is SCF's first green certified building.
