About Silverbell NurserySilverbell Nursery was founded in 1959 and, as a wholesale nursery, it is the oldest in Tucson. Silverbell opened its doors to retail trade in 1987, when it was purchased by the present family ownership. We strive to stay current on appropriate plant materials for the Tucson area and to keep up to date with current horticultural practices. As part of our commitment, every one of our sales personnel are certified by the Arizona Nursery Association. The nursery sales yard is located on a two acre parcel on the east side of Silverbell Road one and a half miles north of Grant Road. Having outgrown our growing grounds on the west side of Silverbell Road, we relocated to twenty-two acre growing grounds in Avra Valley. At this location we grow many of the plants that we sell at the Silverbell sales yard our key to success found by growing these plants in our own environment which makes them more hardy to our climatic conditions."Our success is yours." We believe that if we sell you a plant and tell you how to plant it, feed it, water it, harvest it and prune it, and you and the plant are successful, you will be back.
