Founded in 1949, Mountain States Steel is a locally owned and operated, full-service structural steel fabrication company. The company oversees a professional staff of more than 160 employees. It serves owners, architects, engineers and general contractors in a variety of projects. Mountain States Steel produces over 1,200 tons of fabricated structural steel and plate work every month. Its equipment features burn tables, drill lines, duplicators, bed press brakes, plate rolls, structural cambers and computer numerical control (CNC) structural shape coping machines. The company has worked on several projects, including Golden Gate Bridge Seismic Retrofit, Hoffstadt Bluff, Alameda Corridor Transportation Authority, Bank One Ballpark, Bronco Stadium and LDS Church Conference Center. Mountain States Steel is certified by the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC).
