The St. Agnes Cathedral Elementary School, which is currently run by Rector Monsignor William Koenig and co-principals Kathleen V. Carlin and Helen Newman, originally opened its doors in 1917. It currently serves kindergarten through eighth grade, and with more than 850 students, it is the largest K-8 parish school in the Diocese of Rockville Centre. In addition to the core subjects, art, music, religion, technology and Spanish are also taught.
