Founded in 1988, Muskingum Starlight Industries is a nonprofit corporation that provides a range of employment programs for adults with developmental disabilities and mental illnesses. It offers various contract services that include worker training and supervision for businesses and commercial establishments. The corporation additionally provides skills development, job coaching, educational, and sheltered and transitional employment programs. It also offers a variety of ancillary services, including nursing, psychological assessment, behavioral support, and physical and occupational therapies. Muskingum Starlight Industries is a part of the Muskingum County Board of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities, which coordinates educational, transportation and family support programs.
