The Bronx Jewish Community Council offers a range of social services for more than 5,000 low-income residents of Bronx in New York. It designs and implements programs that focus attention on issues of concern to Bronx residents including: job training, financial stabilization, independent contracting, business startups, environmental concerns, and health related issues. BCA actively develops partnerships with the private sector, educational institutions, social service agencies and community organizations for program support. The Bronx WritersCorp is a group of writers working with schools, art centers and community groups to help promote literacy. Local partnerships and collaborations are encouraged.
