The Woman's Club of Upper Montclair is a nonprofit organization that is part of the New Jersey State Federation of Women’s Clubs. This club offers a variety of programs aimed at community building, volunteering, empowerment and education. Programs include a book club, a needlework group and an art program. Club meetings are held weekly. Women are welcome to join for an annual fee.
Founded in 2002, Jazz House Kids is a community-based, non-profit organization offering year-round musical, educational and cultural programs for students from kindergarten through twelfth grade. The program's staff of established jazz musicians provides instrument and vocal instruction, emphasizing fun, diversity, fundamentals, creativity and music appreciation. Toni's Kitchen has been dishing out food to the less fortunate in Montclair since 1982. The kitchen, situated at St. Luke's Episcopal Church, was named after its first cook, the late Toni Antoinette Green. Hospitality is number one as the kitchen is staffed mostly by volunteers from the area. The hot, nutritious and delicious meals contain food donated by local organizations, businesses and individuals. Local students also frequently get into the act. Meals are served every Thursday, Friday and Saturday as well as on Christmas.

Neighborhood Child Care offers both before and after school programs as well as a summer camp. This school focuses on the whole child and has a family oriented feel.
