The Community and Children's Resource Board of St. Charles County was founded in 1997 to oversee children's mental health services. A 1/8 cent sales tax in St. Charles County generates enough money that the CCRB is able to distribute $5.8 million dollars to agencies that provide mental health and substance abuse treatment services. More than 40 agencies and programs receive funding.
