Allfs Manufacturing, Inc. produces top quality garments for such companies as JCPenney, Tommy Hilfiger, Lands End, GAP, Old Navy, Arizona, Mudd, Canyon River and Harley Davidson. Its history dates back to 1892 when H.A. Baker began manufacturing overalls, pants and shirts. In 1939, the company became the Aalfs-Baker Manufacturing Company, with Wilbur Aalfs as president. Since World War II, the company maintained good relations with its suppliers. Some of the garments produced during the war years went to the military services in the form of pants and fatigue shirts. In 1959, Aalfs-Baker changed its name to Aalfs Manufacturing Inc. Aalfs has its corporate offices in Souix City, Iowa, its sales and marketing office in Dallas, and its distribution center in Mena, Ark. It also has manufacturing partnerships in Mexico. In 2002 Aalfs consolidated its warehousing operations by relocating its distribution center to Mena, Ark.
