Established in 1963, Bal Swan Childrens Center is a preschool with a 40 percent population of disabled children. The center provides early intervention therapies and education services for children with disabilities from infancy to five-years of age, that include occupational, physical and speech therapies, parenting skills and counseling support. The school s curriculum stresses pre-academic basics and incorporates arts and crafts, music, field trips and swimming in its warm-water therapy pool. The school s classroom has an equal mix of challenged toddlers with typical toddlers.
