Sully's Tavern - sometimes called "Sully's Frosted Mug" - is probably a good place to visit if you want cold beer, served at a table or a bar, and to be left alone.
Serving a mature crowd (no college students here) and offering a mostly-domestic line of beers (and the occasional cocktail, but no fancy shooters) Sully's is no-nonsense. Inside, wooden accents and businesslike service is what customers get. A pool table gets fairly regular use.
Just west of SR 43 in Brimfield, Sully's permits customers to bring in their own food, but few do - it's primarily a drinking establishment, and the regulars (of which there are many) seem content with that.
It's worth noting that while Sully's Tavern is in the business of serving alcohol, it's not a good place to drive away from if you've had too many - the Brimfield Police Department is Sully's next-door neighbor.
