The Albuquerque Publishing Company is the production and distribution agent for the Albuquerque Journal. The Albuquerque Journal is the largest newspaper in New Mexico. It is published Monday through Saturday mornings as the Albuquerque Journal, and Sunday mornings as the Sunday Journal. The newspaper has a staff of more than 100 writers, editors, photographers, designers and managers at three locations in Albuquerque, N.M. The Albuquerque Journal covers local news, business, sports and arts stories and provides editorial content throughout New Mexico. The newspaper traces its history back to 1880 as the successor to the Golden Gate newspaper. From its first edition on Oct. 14, 1880, The Albuquerque Journal has expanded its daily circulation to more than 110,000 and its Sunday circulation to more than 156,000.

The Daily Lobo is the independent student newspaper of the University of New Mexico. The publication has been in circulation since 1895. It features news, opinion, culture, sports and entertainment columns. The Daily Lobo staff consists of nearly 100 students who work in classifieds, advertising, accounting, news and production. The students produce the newspaper daily during the fall and spring semesters, as well as weekly during the summer. Its writers have been recognized by a variety of national and regional competitions, including those sponsored by the Associated of Collegiate Press, Rocky Mountain Collegiate Media Association and New Mexico Press Association. The Daily Lobo s Web site provides additional accessibility and resources. The Daily Lobo is produced in Albuquerque, N.M.
