Indiana Hemophilia & Thrombosis Center, also known as IHTC, is one of the leading federally-recognized hemophilia treatment centers in the United States. IHTC is a nonprofit, multidisciplinary evaluation and treatment facility. The center offers a wide rage of healthcare services to individuals suffering from bleeding and clotting disorders. Its services include genetics counseling and testing, pharmacy, nursing and orthopedic services, physical therapy, nutrition counseling, and outpatient anticoagulation monitoring program. Its specialty clinics include anticoagulation, prophylaxis, immune tolerance, hepatitis C and sickle cell. The center also provides educational sessions for patients and their families, medical providers, schools, civic groups and other organizations. The program is funded by the Department of Health and Human Services, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and Indiana State Department of Health.
