The Wheaton Historic Preservation Council maintains two centers in Wheaton. The first is on Front Street, and the second is here on Main Street. Located in one of Wheaton's fine historic Victorian homes, the museum offers various exhibits on Wheaton's pre-Civil War and abolitionist history and occasionally hosts events and programming for the Wheaton Historic Preservation Council, such as the annual 4th of July Stars & Stripes Brunch.

For over fifty years the DuPage County Historical Museum has preserved, supported and educated on DuPage County's origins, culture and unique history. Located in downtown Wheaton, the museum hosts exhibits on the county's rail-road origins and a library of local historical materials. The museum provides plays, tours, lectures, and youth programming throughout the year.

The Billy Graham Center at Wheaton College is the site of the Billy Graham Center Museum. It is also the site of Wheaton College's Institute of Strategic Evangelism, Institute for Cross-Cultural Training, Institute for Prison Ministries, Internet Evangelism Coalition, Ethnic Ministries, Muslim Ministries, the Billy Graham Center scholarship program, the Colson scholarship program, evangelism and missions information, archives and its Evangelism & Missions Collection. The museum provides an overview of the history of Christian evangelism in America with a section dedicated to the life and ministry of Billy Graham. There are a chapel, lounge and gift shop on the premises.
