Centro Asturiano de Tampa was established in 1902 and has been a well-known social and civic club for the Cuban community. Centro Asturiano is a three-level building with the first floor as a basement and recreation area with a gymnasium, a cantina for cards and chess and a billiard room. MOSI Partnership School serves students in grades kindergarten through five and is located at the Museum of Science and Industry (MOSI). The school is a partnership between the Hillsborough County school district and MOSI, which allows students access to museum exhibits to support their learning. In addition to the museum, students have access to the Science Library at MOSI, a Hillsborough County Public Library branch in the museum lobby.
MOSI opened its doors permanently to the public in 1982 and has been offering unique exhibits aimed at both children and adults since. MOSI also houses an IMAX dome that plays standard IMAX films and select feature films. Traveling exhibits, such as the Bodies area, are frequently on display. There is much to do for people of every age, from a butterfly garden to an astronomy show to a high-wire bike.

Cinebistro combines fine dining with moviegoing and features first run films in comfortable theaters with swivel recliners. To order dinner, you must arrive at least 30 minutes prior to showtime, although you do not have to order food to enjoy a movie. You do have to be 21 and over with valid identification. The theaters and meeting rooms are available for private parties and business meetings.
