Attendance at American Stage Theatre Company has soared since it moved into new digs at the Raymond James Theatre, just a block south of Bay Walk. The new theater space is in the same building as St. Petersburg College's downtown campus.
Parking is convenient, because Synovus Bank lets patrons use its parking lot for free during performances; it is one block away, on 3rd Street. Also, St. Petersburg College's parking garage is open to patrons for $5 on Friday night, Saturdays and Sundays.

The Palladium is St. Pete's premier community theater for up-and-coming artists. Its primary interest is live drama; nevertheless, you can always find music on offer, particularly in the winter season. Founded in 1998, the Palladium is housed in a Romanesque church.

The newest addition to Muvico Baywalk 20, known as The Gallery, is perfect for date night and offers a more upscale atmosphere, for patrons over 21. The Gallery has a full service bar and showcases art exhibits and independent films.
