With a mission to present world-class visual arts, The Baker Museum in Naples is a must-see on anyone's itinerary while visiting the area. This three-story, 30,000 square foot museum offers 15 galleries, a glass dome conservatory and resource room. Through the use of specially selected exhibitions and elite lectures, The Baker Museum is sure to awaken your creative muse.

Best & worst time to go to the Baker Museum
November through May tend to be the best times to visit the museum, as this is when the most lectures are held to accommodate seasonal residents. The worst time to visit is in August, when both lectures and exhibits are kept to a minimum.

Must see/do at the Baker Museum
Exhibitions rotate regularly, with no standing exhibits available to suggest. However, the museum offers a "Make-and-Take" event for the whole family to create unique artwork of their own based on the event theme. It is notable that the entrance gates to the museum were designed by renowned artist Albert Paley, and the Persian Ceiling was created by glass artist Dale Chihuly.

Admission to the Baker Museum
Children under 17 are admitted free. Non-member adults pay $10 for entrance. Full-time students receive a special discount upon presentation of their I.D.

Parking & public transportation at the Baker Museum
Free parking is available both at the Museum and at surrounding areas within a short walking distance.

Food at the Baker Museum
Cafe Intermezzo offers visitors fresh lunch selections, with gluten-free and vegetarian options available. Offerings vary daily, and are always made in-house. Dozens of delicious restaurants are also available within a short walking distance at the Waterside Shops, with prices ranging from $15-$35 for an entree.
