Located in Less Summit, Mo., Aldersgate UMC is one of the largest churches in the region. The church offers spiritual and emotional guidance and Christian teaching, as well as an array of musical opportunities, mission involvement, Bible studies, youth groups, and fellowship times. It has ministries for children, youth, young adults, worship, women and small groups. The church provides a special disciple bible study program, designed to develop Christian leaders in local churches through the in-depth study of scripture. Aldersgate UMC organizes several activities, such as jazz concert, aerobics, yoga classes, scouts, classics and potluck dinner. The church operates a Vacation Bible School that provides various programs and activities for different groups, such as classes for infants and children in grades kindergarten through 12, as well as nursery and adult classes.
