Karl Geier started working in his fathers meat market and sausage kitchen at an early age. He learned the trade under his fathers watchful eye and received his Master Sausage Maker Diploma "Metzgermeister Brief" under the strict rules of the German Sausage Makers Guild. Moving permanently to the United States in the mid-sixties Karl ran the operations of a major German sausage company. In the early eighties the Geiers settled in Sarasota, Florida, where they opened "Geiers Sausage Kitchen located at 7447 S. Tamiami Trail. Geiers commitment to quality is far above the norm for the industry. Karls personal belief is to use only the freshest and highest quality ingredients in all of our products. This sets Geiers way above most of the other companies. His all around knowledge and commitment to quality in the meat and sausage business in second to none.
