UGA Griffin Campus, established in 1888, is one of the leading agricultural research centers in Georgia. It focuses on urban agriculture, education, food safety and quality enhancement, and environment and natural resources. The campus also deals in crop and pest management and biotechnology and genetics. UGA Griffin Campus has a library that offers a range of educational resources and materials. It serves more than 10 undergraduate students annually. The campus offers the Master of Agricultural Leadership Degree Program. UGA Griffin Campus is a part of the University of Georgia College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, which serves more than 32,000 students and offers students the opportunity to study applied and basic science in over 20 major and nearly 10 minor programs.
