Since 1994, a wide variety of students at the Family Martial Arts Center of Pacifica have been provided with the opportunity to learn the martial arts. It offers many classes a week for all age groups. Sensei Lee Byrd teaches discipline and self-defense to children as well as adults.
Shintaikido is not only a martial arts location in Pacifica, it is also a form of martial arts taught by owner Kaiso Dave Bendigkeit. For the past 15 years, Dave Bendigkeit has taught a variety of martial arts to people ages 4 and up. Based on a combination of Kung fu, Kajukenbo and Aikido, Shintaikido focuses on control of the whole self, while integrating practice with strikes, throws and weapons training. With ample parking and roomy, clean facilities, this dojo is a great place for practice.
