Founded in 1896, Volunteers of America is one the largest human services organizations that offers housing assistance and health care services. Headquartered in Alexandria, Va., it is a national, nonprofit, faith-based organization that provides support and rehabilitation services to more than 2 million people in over 400 communities. Volunteers of America offers employment and food assistance services to senior citizens and individuals with disabilities.
