LifeSkills provides services for residents of south-central Kentucky whose lives are affected by mental illness, developmental disabilities or substance abuse. It is a private, nonprofit corporation that contracts with the Kentucky Department of Mental Health and Mental Retardation Services for nearly 30 percent of its funding.
