Quick Chek Food Stores is the title sponsor of the Quick Chek NJ Festival of Ballooning. A privately owned company, Quick Chek has a presence in 15 counties throughout New Jersey. The chain currently consists of more than 100 locations. Twelve of those locations include pharmacies. The West Amwell, N.J., location was the first convenience store in the chain to include a gas station. Quick Chek Food Stores is a community partner sponsor to many local athletic teams and activities, and provides donations to multiple New Jersey chapters of the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation. Currently two additional locations are equipped with a gas station. Quick Chek Food Stores is headquartered in Whitehouse Station, N.J. The company s first convenience store opened in Dunellen, N.J., in 1967.
