The historic Oakland Yacht Club is one of only four area yacht clubs that owns all of its own facilities. The club has more than 300 members whose families enjoy races, cruises and various social activities year-round. The club is located at the Pacific Marina, adjacent to Shoreline Park in Alameda's Marina Village district.
Pete's Harbor was established in 1958 as a space with berths for people to park their boats. Later, the Waterfront Restaurant was established there as well. Today, you can park your boats, take lessons, and go diving through various local services. It's a great place for the family to experience the beauty of the waterfront and its natural inhabitants.
The Encinal Yacht Club is located in Alameda off of Atlantic Avenue. Facilities include a guest dock with room for up to 75 small boats, a restaurant, a club and bar and banquet and catering facilities. Events include bay cruises and races sponsored by the club.
Dana Point Marine operates one the largest recrerational marinas on the west coast. Dana Point Harbor attracts thousands a visitors each year for their shopping, beaches and recreation. It has a docking service can meet all your docking needs, water, electrical, and sewage hook ups. It offers friendly service with competetive pricing. There is plenty of free parking with restricted access to members only.
