The term Aveda (a-vay-da) originates from ‘Ayurveda’, a Sanskrit term meaning the "science of longevity" and a natural approach to maintaining and recovering health. This concept stresses treating the whole self and not just the symptoms, and knowing that there is no healthy body without a healthy spirit.
