Orlando International Airport MCO services the greater Orlando metro area and is located southeast of the central business district of Orlando.  Orlando International Airport trails Miami International Airport in being Florida’s busiest airport. However, with 800+ flights a day on over 40 airlines to 78 non-stop destinations it offers the most flights and destinations than any other airport in Florida.

The main airlines serving MCO Airport are Southwest Airlines and JetBlue Airways. In terms of passengers traveling through Orlando International Airport, Southwest Airlines is currently the largest carrier.  There are abundant transportation options to and from Orlando International Airport including the Lynx metro public transportation system, the Disney Magical Express for guests staying at Walt Disney World resorts, cruiseline transportation, taxis and shuttles.

Orlando Airport is conveniently located where Highways 436 and 528 intersect. There is a variety of short-term and long-term parking options including the Blue Lot, Red Lot, Parking Garage A and Parking Garage B.  Delta Air Lines’ Sky Club and United Airlines United Club are among the airline lounges located within the airport.

The airport use to serve as a McCoy Military Air Force Base and still carries the original airport code of MCO to this day. Additionally, it has been nick named “Mickey’s Corporate Office” with it being the closest airport to the world famous Disney World theme park.

Orlando International Airport consists of a main terminal with four concourses connected by a tram system. Concourse 4 is predominantly for international travel. While all terminals and concourses offer a wide array of retail, restaurants and services.
