Hsu Ginseng Enterprises is the first Chinese-owned ginseng farm in North America. It has been growing American Ginseng since 1974, and has more than 1,000 acres of ginseng farmland in Marathon County, Wis. The corporation was founded as a mail order business and has expanded to an international enterprise. It produces nearly 100,000 pounds of American Ginseng every year. Throughout the world, Wisconsin grown American Ginseng is used for medicinal and stress relieving purposes. Hsu Ginseng Enterprises has headquarters in Wausau, Wis., and locations in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Canada, China and Malaysia.
