Staplcotn is a producer-owned cotton cooperative that offers a variety of services to members, including domestic and export marketing, cotton warehousing and agricultural financing. It serves more than 20,000 farm accounts in 10 United States and more than 11,000 members in 41 states. The cooperative also maintains an inventory of more than 4 million bales of cotton, as well as a subsidiary, Stapldiscount, which offers finance services for farm equipment, land purchases and other needs. Staplcotn was established in 1921 and has headquarters in Greenwood, Miss.
