The establishment is owned by Jacques Franey, son of the late famed chef Pierre Franey. Springs Wines & Liquors features an eclectic decor with its extensive collection of Pee-Wee Herman memorabilia. The store carries a large selection of beers and liquors, as well as a variety of international and domestic wines.
Peconic Beverage East has been selling beverages for over 25 years. You will find an extensive list of beers, sodas, waters and teas. It is also a wholesale seller to restaurants and non-profit organizations and offers delivery for orders of more than 10 cases to homes and businesses during weekday afternoons. The store introduced itself to the community in 2009 as Hamptons' newest destination for premium wines and liquors. It is located between Goldberg's Famous Bagels and Peconic Beverage, just off of Montauk Highway. With a modern showroom displaying wines underneath a chalkboard, the store also hosts wine tastings, which in the past have included New Zealand Pinot Noir, Australian Chardonnay, Italian Pinot Grigio and French Sauvignon Blanc.
