After more than three decades of planning and fundraising, the Scott Township Public Library opened in 2001 on the ground floor of the municipal building. The library currently boasts a collection of more than 32,000 items, which includes books, magazines, audio stories, DVDs and other interactive listings.
A branch of the Montgomery County-Norristown Public Library, the Perkiomen Valley Library is home to a collection of about 25,000 items. Patrons may request materials from other libraries in the Montgomery County network.
Programs include storytime, book discussions and Science in the Summer.
The auditorium on the lower level can be rented for various private functions.
