Krispy Kreme is a national doughnut chain that started in North Carolina in 1937. The West End Krispy Kreme first opened its doors in a small shop at the corner of Ralph David Abernathy Boulevard and Less Street decades ago. Eight years ago,the store moved a few blocks away to its current location. West End residents still enjoy the hot, fluffy doughnuts as an anytime treat. Krispy Kreme sells plain glazed, chocolate covered, cream filled, and powdered doughnuts. Patrons can also find new flavors during holidays.
