The Born Learners School offers pre-school, junior kindergarten and kindergarten programs, along with an abbreviated summer camp. The pre-school program is open to children turning 3 years old by December 31 and who are toilet trained. The junior kindergarten program is open to children turning 4 years old by December 31, and kindergarten is open to children turning 5 years old by the same date.
La Costa Meadows is in the San Marcos Unified School District. The school is the "home of the dolphins" and enrolls students in kindergarten through the fifth grade.
La Costa Meadows marked its 25th anniversary during the 2010/2011 school year. It has a special eduction program, an art program and a running club, among other activities. The school is also known for it's annual Halloween Carnival.

Nine of the school's original teachers and staff members were honored when the school celebrated its 20th anniversary in October 2009.
The school is named after Emma Hale (Sykes) Curran, who was born in Murrieta in 1900 and attended the two-room Murrieta School and went on to work at the post office for 35 years.
E. Hale Curran adheres to the Character Counts philosophy, working to instill the six pillars of character: trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring and citizenship.

Founded in 1979, the International School of The Peninsula is co-educational and educates students from pre-school through middle-school. Drawing on its core values of bilingual immersion education, curriculum integration and global citizenship, the school uses a French- and Mandarin Chinese language immersion program to educate students.
