Clayton Middle School is located in Clayton, N.C. The school is a part of the Johnston County School District. It serves students in grades six through eight and provides exceptional childrens and English as a Second Language programs. The school was founded in 1991 and provides education to more than 700 students. Clayton Middle School provides classes in various subjects, such as English, social studies, mathematics, technology, music and arts. It has a media center library that offers a collection of textbooks, magazines, study materials, encyclopedias, dictionaries and atlases, as well as Internet access to students. Clayton Middle School has an athletics department that includes baseball, basketball, soccer, cheerleading, football, softball, track and volleyball.
