Located in Palo Alto, Hope Technology School is a private, non-profit educational facility which provides preschool, elementary school and vocational learning opportunities for both typical students and students with special needs. Additional services include occupational, speech pathology and physical therapy. School tours are held the second Monday of each month at 3pm.
Terman Middle School opened in October 1999 as the third middle school in the Palo Alto Unified School District. The diverse student body of 700 is supported by nearly 70 teachers, paraprofessionals, custodians, food service workers and administrative staff.
Home of the Tigers, Terman's school colors are gold and black and were chosen by students when the school opened.
Terman's mission is to be "an inclusive community of students, families, and educators engaged in achieving high academic and social standards with respect for diversity in a positive school climate."
The Girls' Middle School is a private, all-girls middle school providing education based around critical thinking and problem solving, and believes in the benefits of an all-girls education at a time of crucial development, helping them master self-esteem and avoid the lack of attention and adherence to gender roles that can be detrimental to their futures. The Girls' Middle School offers a rigorous academic courses including arts and music programs, as well as a variety of athletic programs and extracurricular activities, and each year, students take an extended field trip for immersive studies.
