Bronx Community College, also known as BCC, provides a range of educational services. Established in 1957, it offers degree programs in nuclear medicine technology, animal care and ornamental horticulture. The college operates the Center for Teaching Excellence, National Center for Educational Alliances, and Center for Tolerance and Understanding. Bronx Community College also maintains various exercise equipment and features a swimming pool, television studio, and meeting and performance spaces. It operates computer laboratories and learning centers. In addition, the college provides community and outreach programs. Bronx Community College offers student support services that include orientation and counseling. It also provides the English as a Second Language program.
