The Louisiana Community and Technical College System, also known as LCTCS, operates several colleges that offer a range of educational and skills training programs throughout Louisiana. Its colleges include Baton Rouge Community College, Delgado Community College, Louisiana Delta Community College and Elaine P. Nunez Community College. The system also operates Louisiana Technical College, which maintains more than 40 campuses. The Louisiana Community and Technical College System s colleges provide courses in business studies, technology education and humanities. Its colleges offer certificates and diplomas in carpentry, cosmetology, criminal justice, commercial diving, inside machinist apprentice and biomedical equipment technology. In addition, the system s colleges provide a variety of athletic activities, such as cheerleading, basketball, baseball, football, golf and soccer. Operational since 1999, the Louisiana Community and Technical College System is governed by the Louisiana Board of Regents.

Delta College of Arts and Technology offers certificates, diplomas and degree programs in vocational and technical education to students.
