The family feel of this Brazilian-based martial arts academy comes from the top down. "My intention is to provide top service to the customer, but more importantly to be a family environment so people can work out and enjoy the atmosphere," said Brazilian, fifth degree black belt and owner Fernando Yamasaki. The business began in Brazil in 1945; Yamasaki opened in the United States fifteen years ago. The main sports of the 8,000 square foot Academy are Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Mixed Martial Arts.
KS White Tiger Martial Arts offers instruction in martial arts and TaeKwonDo programs for students of all ages in a positive and encouraging atmosphere. The program is geared to developing a "yes I can" attitude with self-discipline and improved concentration.
The program starts with a $19.05 beginner special offer. KS White Tiger also offers after school programs (homework and quiet times included) and summer camps. Birthday parties and special events can also be accommodated.

U.S. Royal Martial Arts teaches Tae Kwon Do and Hap Ki Do to children and adults, and offers a beautiful, cafe-like wi-fi hot-spot overlooking the training mats for parents waiting while the children take lessons. (Sixty percent of the martial arts school's students are children, and forty percent are teens and adults.) Children enrolled in martial arts classes can also enroll in "mental math" classes, which teach math concepts using an abacus. Summer camps teach martial arts, mental math and computers.
