Dr. Raphael Novogrodsky of Urocare Services is a board certified Urologist serving the northern Bronx and the New York area, including Northern Manhattan, New Rochelle, and Southern Westchester County. His office is located on the beautiful campus of the Hutchinson Metro Center, affiliated with Montefiore Medical Center where he has been an attending Urologist since 1994. Dr. Novogrodsky also holds a clinical academic appointment in the Department of Urology at New York Medical College, Westchester, New York. He attended medical school at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and completed his residency training in Urology at Montefiore Medical Center. Dr. Novogrodsky practices the full range of Urology treating conditions such as enlarged prostate, prostate cancer, kidney stones and male sexual dysfunction. Over the years he has developed a special interest in the field of female urology where he has treated thousands of patients with urinary frequency, urgency, incontinence and recurrent UTI’s. Patients are provided with state of the art diagnostics and treatments including urodynamics, neuromodulation, and Botox. Simpler treatments such as lifestyle modifications are also emphasized. Only recently has the medical community focused its attention on the very common problems of female sexual dysfunction and Dr. Novogrodsky has fully embraced this concept. He now offers women the opportunity to revitalize this important part of their lives using the MonaLisa Touch in- office laser procedure. He and his staff have a true passion for helping patients, both men, and women, foster and develop healthy, active lifestyles which includes improving their sexual activity. Together with his wife, who is also a physician specializing diagnostic mammography, they have raised five children and currently reside in northern New Jersey.
