Established in 1990, Centennial Sportsplex is a fitness, recreation and sports complex. The more than 145,000-square-foot year-round family center offers facilities for ice-skating, fitness, swimming and tennis. It offers a wide variety of programs, clinics and lessons for people of all ages. Centennial Sportsplex is the home of the National Hockey League Nashville Predators professional hockey team. The sports complex has hosted various national events, such as the U.S. senior and junior national swim meets, YMCA National Swim Meet, U.S. Water Polo Olympic Trials, U.S. Figure Skating Championships, Virginia Slims Tennis Championships, and the United States Tennis Association Womens Challenger. The sports complex features competitive and recreational pools, a more than 2,000-square-foot fitness center, 200- by 85-foot ice rinks, and lighted, outdoor hard surface tennis courts. Centennial Sportsplex is located in Nashville, Tenn.
